I am available for workshops! I can run informal style interactive workshops with some writing exercises involved, and these have most recently been run via Zoom or, if you’re in the Nottingham area, I can do them face to face.

An hour-long session that introduces attendees to how they can make the most of reading and writing to enhance their day-to-day wellbeing.

In the session you will learn:

Reading

  • A brief history of bibliotherapy
  • The benefits of reading different genres or styles
  • An exercise to help you find out what kind of reader you are and how to make the most of this to enhance your reading experience
  • Top tips to make time for reading

Writing

  • A brief look at different types of writing you can do
  • A free writing exercise
  • Top tips to make time for writing in your daily routines

The session will be a mixture of information and practical exercises with discussion. It can be run virtually.
